The Seekers Almanac is a record of positions held to be true, and the Portal is a way to question that record. Using either one means accepting the following, which is mostly a description of what the thing already is.

This is not advice, and it is not a professional relationship. Nothing on the Almanac or out of the Portal is medical advice, a diagnosis, a prescription, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Nobody here is your physician and nobody here is your financial adviser. What you do with any of it is yours to decide and yours to own.

The positions are held with confidence, not certainty. Every position carries what would disprove it, because every position might be wrong. A source is never trusted past eighty per cent, including this one. Read it as a strong argument you are invited to break, which is what it is, and not as an authority you are invited to obey.

The Portal answers from a corpus, and a corpus has edges. It will sometimes be wrong, out of date, or missing the thing you needed. Check anything that matters against the sources it cites, which is why it cites them.

Your account. You are responsible for what you put into it. Do not use the Portal to break the law, to attack the service, or to bulk-extract the corpus. Accounts doing any of those get closed.

What is ours. The positions, the writing, the design and the corpus are the property of Guten Group US. Read them, quote them, argue with them, cite them. Do not republish the corpus wholesale or pass it off as your own.

What is yours. What you write stays yours. We store it to run the service for you and claim nothing else over it.

Liability. The service is provided as it is. Guten Group US is not liable for what follows from decisions you make after reading it. That is not a lawyer’s flourish — it is the honest position of a publication that tells you to think for yourself.

Ending it. You can stop using the Portal whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted. We can close an account that is breaking these terms.
